Felicia Wu Song is a cultural sociologist, professor of sociology at Westmont College, author, and popular lecturer. In a previous interview with Radix, Felicia talked about her book Restless Devices: Recovering Personhood, Presence and Place in the Digital Age. In this follow-up conversation, Joy and I talk to Felicia more specifically about the relationship between pastors and technology. The conversation includes some rich topics, from the value of personal presence, the performative nature that social media can incite within leaders, to default assumptions that can be held about the nature of technology. As always, Felicia proves to be a thoughtful and worthwhile thinker.
