David Gill is one of those individuals who has said a lot of wise things in a plurality of places. Possibly that is because he has taught on ethics, technology, and business for over forty years (think Fuller Seminary, Regent College, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, among others). He is also the author of eight books, has founded the International Jacques Ellul Society, and has a wide group of friends (that is of significant worth in its own right).
In this interview, David invites us to think more deeply about the spirit of technology and how it affects and shapes our relationship with reality, each other, and God. Also, too, he provides some interesting yet simple ways to resist the pull of technology.
